After what seems a life time indoors and working from home, life truly has seemed to return to some kind of normal for us, with the London Architecture and design scene finally coming to life again with the return of a few much-loved events.
Our team didn’t have to be asked twice to attend the International ARCHITECT@WORK event held at held at the Trueman Brewery, Bricklane. The architecture & design community were enthusiastic to see A@W London return to its physical format after 2 years of absence!
The event itself showcased the latest innovations in architecture, which as Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers and Designers, we’re always eager to stay ahead of! While there our team attended the ‘Nature’s Lungs’ Seminar with Chair Paul Lincoln and an impressive panel who included Eleanor Brough, Katherina Erne, Joanna Simpson and Sanaa Shaikh. The seminar focused on climate change and how architecture and landscape design can play an important role going forward. Impressive stuff!

Following this the team headed down to Clerkenwell in London, as they hosted their ‘Creative Comeback’. It’s home to more creative businesses and architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet, making it one of the most important design hubs in the world. The event was held during the areas very own Design Week, with over 400 events that took place across the festival, plus 150+ resident showrooms and 10 exhibition venues to explore!

We’re excited to see what the summer has in store… it’s good to be back!
