Rockmount House is located overlooking the beautiful St Brelade’s Bay in Jersey.
The existing property will be demolished and replaced with a five-bedroom home, in the style of a traditional Jersey longhouse, complete with swimming pool.
The project poses many structural complexities, especially relating to the substructure and basement construction, cut back and into the existing granite rockface. With large retaining walls, slender socket piles through deposit layers into the lower bedrock layer and transfer deck at the first and second floor to support the house.
