PROJECT DESIGN

This Grade II* listed Power Station is fast-becoming one of the capital’s liveliest neighbourhoods, whilst retaining its status as a globally recognised design icon. At the heart of a 42-acre development, Battersea Power Station, presents a complex and challenging restoration project, but with huge opportunity. The building will eventually be home to 253 apartments, six floors of office space, a designated area for 90 plus retail outlets, an urban food hall and a 2000 person capacity event venue.

D4S are extremely proud to be working with CMF, alongside BuroHappold and WilkinsonEyre, on the feature link bridges, north façade restraint beams and the impressive bowstring truss to the existing turbine halls and boiler house.

Our specialist connection design team based in the Greek office are coordinating with the London structure team, who will both be responsible for designing all the architecturally led exposed complex connections for each of these feature elements.
