As part of our ongoing partnership with Karrada, we were appointed to deliver Stage 4 and 5 design services for this prominently located London hotel.

The hotel was to remain operational and profitable throughout the project lifecycle, with the creation of 200 additional rooms and a fully glazed rooftop extension for a brand new restaurant.

THE SOLUTION

Our team initially conducted a site survey and the opening up works that followed. This allowed any potential risks and possible solutions to be discussed at the earliest opportunity, saving time, money and disruption on-site.

The project included bespoke strengthening works of the existing concrete frame and the structural design of the rooftop extension. The strengthening works were vital to maintaining the structural integrity of the building itself, along with the successful delivery of the rooftop.
