We are really pleased to share, that we recently became an ICE Approved Employer, giving us the opportunity to deliver ICE Training Schemes within our workforce.
Associate Matt Goold, began the process earlier this year, liaising with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) to gain official accreditation. This also meant undertaking the training to become a Supervising Civil Engineer (SCE) and Training Scheme Administrator (TSA), in preparation for supporting his colleagues and future employees in achieving Chartership through ICE.
Career Development with Design4Structures
As Design4Structures ICE lead, Matt is looking forward to helping others benefit from the training.
“It is brilliant to be on the approved ICE list of training scheme providers. As we continue to attract new talent to the company, this gives us a great opportunity to provide the opportunities and experience for career progression in an innovative environment to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.“

The Importance of Ongoing CPD
Providing everyone with the chance to continuously develop their skills, knowledge and professional status is of huge importance at Design4Structures. We encourage independent learning, but also lean massively on the sharing of knowledge and expertise across departments and within teams. We host weekly CPD sessions which bring everyone together as well as presenting an opportunity to discuss and implement within our own service delivery and internal procedures.
Going forward, anyone that wishes to become a Member of ICE, register as a Chartered Engineering, Incorporated Engineer or Technical Engineer, will be able to work with Matt as their guide and mentor, to gain the work opportunities and experience required to progress. We can’t wait to share the developments of employees in the future!
