Design4Structures is committed to sustainability both in our project delivery and day-to-day running of the business.
We educate all of our employees to adopt a greener way of thinking, to deliver ecologically sustainable structures, giving priority to the consideration of ecological principles to each of our designs wherever possible and its effects on the surrounding areas and communities. We get involved at the most critical time where processes, choices and decisions made can directly encourage the most sustainable outcome – zero waste and zero carbon footprint, which is always our desired outcome.
We carry this through within the workplace, with CPD for our teams specifically focused on environmental awareness and reducing our carbon footprint, whilst always seeking ways in which we can create a more sustainable business environment. Where possible we are paperless, minimising waste at every opportunity. We seek to refurbish computing equipment, rather than replace, whilst adopting technology and cloud-based working to minimise impact further.
Health, Safety and Wellbeing
Our employees are our most valuable resource. We are committed to doing everything we can to maintain a culture where health, safety, mental and physical wellbeing is a core value. It is our number one priority.
We continue to encourage an open culture, where everyone feels confident and safe to share any concerns whether it is related to personal issues, workplace incidents or health and safety matters. We have strong policies in place that can provide a solution to any situation that may arise.
